RICK OWENS ABOUT FW15 SPHINX COLLECTION

‘Every man wants to do that, every man wants to be walking on the street with his dick out, it is a great idea. So you know what I mean, we did it.’ Check Rick Owens‘s interview out, where he clearly declares the luxe of freedom and expression.

Because I thought this collection is a little bit of contrast between CONTROL and COLLAPSE, it’s kind of an eternal question about this these two every day. How do you disappoint your life to be a better person, to be the person you want to be. And it can be hard to consider what could happen when this kind of facts work … just lost control. And having guys walking with DICKS OUT is such a simple, primal effect, I like it’s cheap, and simple and easy. And it’s just something that has an impact, and also I think it is about freedom. I’m in a position where I am able to do that, I think it is a huge LUXURY, having the FREEDOM to do that. I liked the moment of pure energy. Every man wants to do that, every man wants to be walking on the street with his dick out, it is a great idea. So you know what I mean, we did it. / I kind of fetishised peacoats, nautical peacoats, nautical cable knits. I liked the idea of perverting them, I liked the idea of taking something very classical, and modest, and uniform, and corrupting it.
