Neil Barrett Men’s Fall Winter 2015
Saturday, 17th January 2015
Via Senato, 10
Neil Barrett looked back at his brand’s roots for Fall Winter 2015 collection; traditional British menswear tailoring and fabrics were the arguments he wanted us to discuss about, and the contamination of modern contemporary in classic wear. Everything has been created in knit variation, to allow a sense of ease and comfort; all has to express a relaxed and fluide silhouette. Casualness of gestures, as hands in pockets, and the formal rigor of cuts and lines, as the one of a winter coat, have been melted together, with a preciseness that is Neil Barrett’s peculiarity and strong point. Knitwear crafts, as Argyle and Fair Isle, have been proposed in a modern interpretation, and the decorative motif all across the collection is taken from pop art, the powerful and explosive ‘kaboom’.
