Pigalle’s show was held in a charming and a bit diseased theatre in La Chapelle district. ‘Mikado’ was the name of what we define more a theatrical performance rather than a fashion show. It started with a screening of a short film by Nicolas Peduzzi – where the designer himself, Stéphane Ashpool, and some all-ages friends of him performed – followed by the same actors walking down the stage, dressed up in ‘Mikado’ stuffs, taking the bow. The leitmotif print of the whole collection was inspired by a Morris Louis’s painting. Casual, cool and relaxed silhouettes were shown, all in warm and organic shades and with that typical Pigalle’s Parisian coolness.
