With a stronger focus on tailoring and luxurious fabrics, Riccardo Tisci took his fascination with America to the dark side for Fall/Winter 2013. Frankenstein stitched bomber jackets gave a sporty edge to one of the designer’s more formal collections as he focused on creating complex layers in elegant fabrics that had a couture element to them. Jackets and trousers were juxtaposed with printed T-Shirts and shorts and teamed with bomber jackets tied around waists. The circle of candles which the models walked into was like that of a séance and was symbolic, not just for the religious references, but also for the cult that surrounds the house whose aesthetic Tisci is now pushing forward in a new direction.
